This week's reading story was called An Extra Good Sunday. It's an excerpt from Ramona Quimby, Age 8.
My students have been working so hard, I wanted to show them the new movie Ramona and Beezus! It's based on all of the Ramona books, including Age 8 and Beezus and Ramona...and the girls just loooove Selena Gomez! Click the pictures to figure out where to buy them.
Here's the trailer to the movie:

I do a read aloud with my Kinders everyday after lunch. Their very favorite books are the Ramona books! They just love her and pointing out her good and bad choices. And most of the time they remember what is happening in the book better than I do!
ReplyDeleteYes! This book was used for characterization! Judy Moody is our next character for this week. I also like using Junie B. Jones and Pippi Longstocking to talk about choices!
